DOCUMENTATION AND CULTURAL CENTRE OF GERMAN SINTI AND ROMA

German website.
One of the central roles of the institution is to document the more than 600 years of history of the Sinti and Roma in Germany.
A particular emphasis has been laid on the national socialist crime of genocide which for decades was kept hidden from the public consciousness. Another important role of the Centre consists in illustrating the cultural contributions which the Sinti and Roma minority has made in the fields of literature, the plastic arts and music, among others, and to help to correct stereotypes in these areas. Scientific conferences and seminars in co-operation with experts from Germany and abroad are held to this end.

INTERREGIONAL HOLOCAUST FOUNDATION

This Russian Foundation was established in June 1992 as a scientific and educational Holocaust study center. It is the first organization in the post-Soviet era aimed at preserving the memory of Holocaust victims, creating museums and documentary exhibitions, including the subject in the curricula of schools and institutions of higher education, organizing commemorative events, erecting monuments, and gathering of evidence and memoirs. It was named the Interregional Holocaust Foundation in 1997.

LEARNING FROM THE PAST - TEACHING FOR THE FUTURE

The Mark and Gail Appel Program in Holocaust and Antiracism Education - "Learning from the Past, Teaching for the Future"- is an initiative of The Centre for Jewish Studies and The Canadian Centre for German and European Studies at York University in Toronto, Canada.
The project brings together Canadian university students and fellow students from Germany and Poland, to explore how best to counter racism — including antisemitism — through teaching about the Holocaust. It also involves experts and members of the broader public in all three countries.

STIFTUNG DENKMAL FÜR DIE ERMORDETEN JUDEN EUROPAS
